Lake Wildwood Association is a 2,400-acre large-scale HOA gated private community with a lake, and golf course.
Located at the 1,400' elevation in the Sierra Nevada foothills in Penn Valley, CA.
, Lake Wildwood is above the fog line and just below the snow, making the weather ideal for all year enjoyment.
Lake Wildwood's list of amenities includes Nevada County's #1 rated 18-hole golf course; two tennis compounds; community and activities center with large catering and meeting spaces; a Lakeside pool, five lakeside parks with barbecues and swimming beaches, a marina and multiple boat docks at each park.
The Oaks Clubhouse offers breakfast, lunch, dinner, and catering.
The Finance Officer or Director of Finance will be responsible to oversee and orchestrate prudent accounting practices to protect and secure the members equity and Association assets in compliance with the Davis Stirling Act and GAAP and manage and regulate Reserve Account activity for $45 million in assets.
The Director of Finance Responsibilities Include:
A.
Maintaining all accounting records and related funds for the Association in accordance with GAAP and established Association Governing Documents.
B.
Responsible for budget law compliance with State Civil Code 1365 Davis-Stirling Act.
C.
Responsible for the financial reporting to the General Manager, Finance and Audit Committees and Board of Directors, maintaining high ethical standards, transparency, and accountability with all constituents.
D.
Provide sound financial advice as needed.
E.
Supervise the Accounting Manager, Accounts Payable-Payroll Clerk, Cash Management-A/R Clerk, and Membership Coordinator.
F.
Responsible for all bank relationships, cash flow management, accounting of all fund balances, and 401K Fund management.
Education and
Experience:
A.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
B.
Certified Public Accountant and/or Certified Hospitality Accountant Executive (CHAE) desirable.
C.
Association or resort/club operations experience.
D.
Must have at least 5 years of experience in a financial supervisory role.
E.
Must have previous experience with Audit processes.
F.
Must have excellent communication skills.
G.
Professional appearance and conduct required.
H.
Must be familiar with and able to use computer/printer, copiers, fax machines, phone, and other common office equipment.
I.
Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite programs.
Familiarity with Jonas Software is preferred.
Certificates/Licenses:
A.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
Certified Public Accountant desirable.
B.
Association or resort/club operations experience desirable.
C.
Valid driver's license is required.
